About this AR Art Exhibit
Artist Statement
In my role as an artist, my primary objective is to articulate my personal and societal concerns with a specific focus on the Latina Women communities in South Florida. I thrive on experimenting with novel visual experiences, crafting a realm where we can transmute our stories and Latin American experiences into art and beauty. I explore various artistic disciplines, including dance, film, and performance, to construct this transformative universe. Within my artistic practice, it's imperative for me to weave in feminine messages that foster social consciousness, establishing a connection between narrative and identity. I am dedicated to amplifying the voices of the marginalized, striving to fortify and unite them within our Latino communities. My passion lies in actively contributing to social change through my art, particularly in women's movements. By doing so, I aim to enable the broader audience to resonate with and vicariously experience the emotions and sensations inherent in the world of Latin American Women.
